Creative painting sessions with Gmundner Keramik! The kids paint the ceramics themselves using original tools and paints from the manufactory to create truly unique pieces.

Just like the manufacturing process at Gmundner Keramik itself: Each piece has always been handmade and passes through around 60 hands during production. This makes each piece unique. The history of the well-known design, the “green flame”, dates back to the 17th century and the technique of “flaming” has been an intangible cultural heritage since 2021.

Does it take place in all weathers?

Takes place in all weathers – in bad weather the painting session will be moved to the store, Auerspergstraße 3, 1080 Vienna. We have space for this event, as you can pick up a paintbrush at any time between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm (Mon-Fri) and 9:00 am and 3:00 pm (Sat).

How much does it cost?

Our range consists of breakfast mug at € 22,- / cereal bowl at € 21,- / dessert plate at € 21,-

When are the exact dates?

Always on Thursday: 08.08 / 22.08 / 29.8.
Friday 16.08. (Exceptionally, because of the public holiday on Thursday)

Can I take the painted ceramics home with me?

We work on original Gmundner ceramics with original tools and colors and the ceramics are then fired.

The painted items can be collected from Auerspergstraße after 8-10 days. On request, Gmundner Keramik will be happy to send the unique items to your home address, so that you can create your own souvenir in Vienna and keep the memory of this event in the post worldwide.
